Suntools Textedit
Here is an example of how NOT to create a "Save File" function.

In this text editor, to save a file, you must type the file name in to your document, select the text, right-click and select "Store to Named File" from the menu.

A similar process is involved for loading a file, but at least that text does not get written to your file.

As a bonus this entire process involves a finger dance that involves all three mouse buttons because text selection involves both the left and middle mouse buttons.

Also, when typing you must keep the mouse cursor inside the window or your keystrokes may start going to another program window, even if it is in the background. Hope you don't mind having your cursor in the way of what you are typing, and hope your mouse doesn't drift!

Suntools Lock Screen
From the right-click desktop menu you can select "lock screen". This starts a screen saver that displays various patterns of Sun logos.

Suntools Unlock Screen
Leaving the screen saver prompts for the user's password before it will return to the desktop. (Each user on SunOS has a user ID and password)

Suntools Demo Apps
A font editor, and a demo program.

Also an example "Quit" dialog box. Press the left mouse button to confirm Quit. To cancel , press the right mouse button now. Wait, do you mean my left or my other left?

Suntools More Demos
Ohhh, perty. Some more demo program with various animation.
