The "Find files or folders" option is now replaced by Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Additionally, the "Find on the Internet" option would launch the the default web browser in 98 with the IE 4 shell. All it does is browse to a search URL on Microsoft web site. This option now only launches Microsoft Internet Explorer ignoring user preference. (Actually this started with IE 5.0)

The "open" and "save as" dialogs have been modified to display common file locations on a bar on the left. The "My pictures" folder is a special folder that allows graphic files to be previewed as thumbnails.

The media player is now "skinable". And plays "ambient" video while playing audio files. Fortunately the classic look is still available.
