And just for comparison, the current version of Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE 6 SP2) runs on... Windows XP. And I suppose Windows 2003 server, although that seems to be a slightly different IE version. Anyway, that's all! IE 7 (not released yet) will add Windows Vista (also not released yet) but then IE 6 will not run on Vista. And even then they will probably have slightly different versions of IE 7 for each version of Windows. Firefox 1.5 uses the exact same version for all versions of Windows. |
