It's a damn shame that a company would have to be dragged to court in order to fix a problem with their software. The problem in this case was Microsoft not wanting to make their Java support 100% compatible with the industry standard. You would think they would do that just to make a better product right? Well, here is the scoop: They just CAN'T fix it. 

That's right, Microsoft Internet Explorer is such a piece of crap that it just can't be fixed! Internet Explorer is based on a non-Microsoft product, (like most Microsoft products) that was assimilated and implanted with useless features, bells and whistles to the point where there is more fluff than program. When fluff goes south, there is no turning back, and boy did M$s fluff go south!

So what does it all mean? It means that it is time to party, at least a little. The real party will be when/if Bill is forced to unbundle his stupid gay browser from Windows 98/2000. I sure as hell don't want Internet Explorer 4 or 5 on any machine of mine. 

This ruling actually makes it more likely that Bill will be found guilty of monopolistic behavior. I predict that if Bill does not separate his browser application from his operating system, then he will wind up doing jail time.
